The newest version of Minecraft that is out now which is the 1.18, the recipe for diamonds has changed a bit. Now you just need to smelt an iron ingot and Redstone to get a new block called “Block of Diamond” or “Block of Iron”. So in this article, we will teach you how to get Diamonds In Minecraft since they are pretty hard to find or mine.
How To Get Diamonds In Minecraft for Xbox One Edition [Updated]
Diamonds are extremely rare in the world of Minecraft. It takes forever (or it feels like it) to collect enough diamonds for almost anything. However, with a little luck and these steps, you’ll be able to get diamonds in Minecraft in no time. This method is for Xbox One Edition only, but the following methods can work for Android users as well
Step 1: First things first, find some glass. It’s relatively easy since it pops up everywhere that isn’t water or lava. Usually, you can find them near villages or outcroppings of sandstone deposits. You’ll need twelve blocks of glass if you want to craft your diamonds into diamond blocks instead of just diamonds (which are more useful).
Step 2: The next step requires you to build an “A” shaped structure using the glass that we just gathered from step one. Make sure to leave an empty space in the middle of the diamond, and put a chest in that spot.
Step 3: Now it’s time for you to place torches on all the blocks (except the one with the chest). Once you have them all placed, set them on fire. Once everything is lit up nice and good, simply step away from your masterpiece. It will eventually burn down after about five minutes or so, revealing what’s inside! Congratulations, if you did this correctly, you should end up with some diamonds! If not, don’t worry, just try again until luck favors your favor.
Step 4: For those players who would rather use coal instead of wood for fuel, here is how you get even more diamonds by burning down a structure like the one in step 3. This requires that you have at least fifteen blocks of coal in your inventory.
Place the coal on the outer edges of the diamond shape, and like before put a chest in the middle space. This time, light up all the torches and stand outside away from your creation to let it burn down. You might not get diamonds this way every time, but if you work hard enough, you will eventually get one!
Step 5: While mining is usually pretty fruitless for most players, it’s worth a shot, especially if you’ve tried everything else so far. If diamonds are lying around where you’re digging, chances are someone has already come through there before you to loot them all up leaving nothing behind but double chests which contain multiple stacks of whatever was inside
(An example of this would be if you filled chests with Redstone dust but found double chests instead). However, it is possible to find a diamond or two in the mine. It just takes patience and luck.
